Stop banning glitchers.

OK.It's fine that you can ban hackers/modders. It's their fault. But stop banning glitchers. It's your fault and you better fix the glitches. Rockstar,if you see people glitching for money, fix it and stop banning them.

Anyone who exploits a Glitch to give them some kind of advantage in the game has breached the E.U.L.A. & deserve to be punished in some way.

IT IS THEIR OWN FAULT

You may be happy enough to play a game amongst people who cheat, however there are plenty of legit players who are sick of these people who quite often screw up their glitching & then come here claiming it's R*'s fault or whatever.
Besides as far as I'm aware No-one has been Banned for glitching the usually procedure is to Zero their bank balance & send them to the Cheaters Pool for a month!

Also if you read the box your game came in you will see that R* can do pretty much what they want as far as providing on-line service, I'm pretty sure they wouldn't BUT if they wanted they could just switch the whole lot off & there would be nothing anyone could do.

Morale of the story :- loose the sense of "entitlement" be grateful for what we have & Don't Cheat

People who glitch aren't necessarily cheating. Glitching money for example. Having money doesn't give an advantage so isn't cheating. Some will say that having money does give an advantage, but all it gives you is luxuries, it doesn't increase your rank and doesn't give you better weapons.

Oh, and R* agrees with me. They use the fact of money not giving an advantage as justification for selling shark cards.
So by R*'s own claims, if they then label a money glitcher as a cheat, they are guilty of defamation. They do have a right to punish people who break the rules, but they are wrong to call them cheaters.

Really? I didn't know that glitches can help people. But still, glitches is Rockstar's problem. If Rockstar didn't want us to cheat using glitches,at least fix the glitches and bring RP and Cash from Races,Deathmatches e.t.c back to original.

There is two ways about it, as you demonstrated by both agreeing and disagreeing with me in one sentence lol.

As I've previously shown, money glitching doesn't give an advantage, so doesn't deserve to be punished :-P

glitching (finding an open door) is not cheating, exploiting a glitch (entering the door) is cheating, they are two totally different things.

Maybe google "glitch" ,"exploit" & "cheat" (one at a time) educate yourself as to their respective definitions & re-read these posts!
& Please don't come back until you have also read the E.U.L.A. in it's entirety, then & only then will you be in a position to be able to make a comment of any value or relevance regarding such matters. cheers then ;-)

Glitchers are cheaters, to many times have i seen them. Once they get their cash they get bored since there is nothing elde to do. So they start to grief people and ruin their game as well.

As i see it, if you glitch you should have your cash and vehicles taken from you. If you glitch again then you should get a full reset (back to lvl1). If you glitch a 3rd time you should be banned as you can not learn the lesson.

Rockstar will not lose anything by removing glitchers as they will only gain more loyalty from their non cheating playersbase. Glitchers will actually make non cheaters leave in the long run and that will kill GTA online.

Why would any1 want to kill this game by glitching is beyond me...

@ cptn.obvious glitching for cash is a problem as these people often get bored as they have nothing to work towards & turn to griefing others by sabotaging mission as they don't care about the money (they have millions) or glitching into a building you shouldn't be in & shooting through walls, glitching to become invisible, or invincible, those are a few examples or where glitching would be considered cheating.

@DysnomiaPandora Glitching isnt realy cheating

I have just provided some examples of where glitching would be concidered cheating

here are a few examples of where it would not be,

playing football(soccer) with the big balls, putting anything in the titan or transporter or truck, things like the "swing-set" glitch even getting inside buildings that have interiors just to look around with friends (not to kill other players).
things like being bald after wearing masks is also a glitch as well as when textures don't load (not always lag) there are numerous instances.

Not trying to be rude but as I suggested earlier google "glitch"

and as far as R* fixing the game, I'm sure it would be a lot easier if people stopped trying to break it so much! :-)

Money glitching gives you sufficient enough resources to always have a large amount of ammunition. Many players don't have full grenade launchers or RPGs due to the high cost of ammo.
Furthermore, more money gives you access to the more expensive Warstock vehciles. The tank and the buzzard. Which, of course, gives you an advantage.

of course they worked for the money IN REAL LIFE

& with the cost of shark cards anyone who could afford to spend the kind of real money to buy the kind of in-game money some glitchers/hackers/modders have would I'm sure have better things to do with their money?

Dear Rockstar,
You are not supposed to ban people from GTA Online, because they are doing glitches. It's YOUR fault, and YOU patched the XP and the Cash we were given while we were doing the "Criminal Records" or some other Races. Since you had patched the XP and Money from the Races, I am stuck in Level 77, and I started doing glitches to increase my Money. If you don't want us to do the glitch, then find an easier way for us to increase our Money and XP.

IT is NOT that hard to earn cash there are plenty of topics in this forum that handle that. Find a crew and do missions, survivals etc its a good way to earn cash and is how the game is ment to be played.

Glitching money just to get cash to play the game will ruin it. the money is the goal not the means.

Buying cash cards costs real money, which is finite, therefore the in-game money you can get is also finite and frankly I just can't see someone spending 20+ dollars for in game cash for a game that itself costs $60. Glitchers, on the other hand have an infinite reel of money being constantly raked in.
Regardless, I'm still kind of iffy about the cash card idea, I would be strongly against it, but as long as it leads to some of that money being invested for the betterment of the online I suppose I can consider it a necessary evil.

Buying a cash card provides you with an unfair advantage over a lot of people that don't have spare money to blow on the game. You should feel ashamed of yourself for buying them.

Alright, I've seen good points on both sides...

I do agree that those who do the trick of selling cars multiple times in a row, and then delete their characters by accident while doing that deserve no support on that matter, I mean take responsibilities for your own acts already.

But then, if doing the LSC glitch is cheating, shouldn't we ALL get banned? I mean I'm sure every single one of us has used a glitch at some point, the two I'm thinking about right now are the ones related to the cops, haven't we ALL used the train tunnel to shake the cruisers off? And haven't we ALL used the wind farm to shake choppers off?

And how about making a playlist with 10, maybe 20 coveted? Is that glitching, does that warrant banning?

So I guess my point is, where should we draw the line?

Personally, I draw the line at game breaking exploits. The tow truck, that was too far. But the sheriff SUV? I don't know why they deleted it, to me it was harmless, but alright. Invisibility and invincibility that is going too far too.

But I don't care if some kid has 40 times more money than me and can afford every single vehicle in the game, and yes I'm a tad jealous because I'm grinding the hell out of coveted so I can afford the EC130 and OH-6, because I just can not choose between the two, and they don't have to. And also I'd like to have enough money to not care about doing missions , so I wouldn't have to just do them as fast as possible, and actually could enjoy them.

That game is a virtual representation of SoCal, so live and let live. ;-)

Great answer! Glitchers really need to be punished. Almost all of the guys saying that glitchers shouldn't be punished are glitchers themselves and are simply scared that they'll be banned if they don't try to convince others that they shouln't face consequences for breaking the rules.

I agree with some of the things said like where is the harm in having a police SUV or police car in your garage. Does it give you a advantage NO, does it improve your game play well NO. What I do not agree with is people cheating in ways like gaining money using cheats or using GOD mode.
Have a look at what is happening in the world with issues regarding electronic equipment for example. If you say My boss is a d--k head on you tube or social medial and it is seen by others you can be disciplined for it by your boss. If you use a glitch to get money on GTA 5 due to Rockstar selling money cards online you are stealing and you can be punished for this.
So my advice is take a long hard look at what you are doing on GTA 5 before you do it as you may not only loose access to GTA 5 Online but also your Microsoft account as well read what Rockstar are currently doing according to the net.

People who buy cash cards are supporting the continuing development of GTA Online. The $60 you pay for GTA V is for the single player game. R* offers GTA Online for free to people who purchase GTA V, and many of the people who post here seem to fail to understand this.

I have gladly spent money on cash cards because of the hundreds of hours of entertainment I have gotten from playing GTA Online, and if you wish the online game was better then you ought to put your money where your mouth is and support the game by buying cash cards rather than by glitching.

I fully support R* punishing glitchers. Not just money glitchers but also car duplicators and people who drive duplicated cars.

It is really unfair to people who grinded for the money or supported the game by buying cash cards when other people cheated to get the same vehicles.

@SFBryan18 BS. The online is known and a key feature that sells the game. It's not free. If it were free, then we wouldn't have to pay for the single player. Everyone who bought the game paid for the online feature so stop with this ridiculous fantasy that Rockstar needs some type of fund raiser to continue to produce. They made billions and have plenty to continue going.

I agree. I have a level 7 character after having my other character deleted by god knows what and thought about using the glitch but haven't because I know what might happen if I do, but if I did that wouldn't give me any advantage if I were to run into someone that has played legitimately and has a minigun and good armor now would it.

So all I say is Rockstar find and fix the glitches completely and then you wont have to worry about exploiters.
