Question: How can I change my language in GTAV?
Answer: The language for the console version of GTAV depends on your console language setting. If your console language is not supported in GTAV you will be prompted to select a language when starting the game. If you would like to reset the language after the game has already saved it:
- On Xbox 360: Hold LB + RB while booting the game
- On PS3 or PS4: Hold L1 + R1 while booting the game, or clear your game data (NOT save data) from the PS3 Game Data Utility in the PS3 XMB (system menu).
- On Xbox One: The language in-game matches the console language and needs to be changed in the console's System Settings.
On PC, if the game is not automatically displaying in your desired language, you can change it by using the command line “-uilanguage” followed by a space and then one of the supported languages: "american" (American English),"french", "german", "italian", "spanish", "portuguese", "polish", "russian", "korean", "chinese", "japanese", "mexican" (Mexican Spanish).
