[Updated 11/8/13] Interface problems when selecting "Internet" from the cell phone in GTA V

Question: I tried to select Internet on my in-game Grand Theft Auto V phone, and it became unresponsive. I can’t get phone functionality back – help!

Question: I completed the Story Mode of Grand Theft Auto V, and now my cell phone causes the game and interface to glitch!  When I select Internet, the screen dismisses the phone interface and the mini-map along with the character selection wheel disappears.  Sometimes I can't close the phone at all now.  Help!

Answer: This issue may occur if you access the Internet while on a mission replay.  We recommend loading a previous save.  If you would like to receive an automatic email notification as soon as there is more information about a permanent fix for this issue, please log into the Support Site and click Subscribe at the top of this page.

Updated 11/8/13: We have received a few reports about continued issues with selecting Internet on the cell phone even after the most recent TU, and are investigating this. 

Note: If this issue seems to be following you into GTA Online as well, try creating a new Story Mode save and then entering Online.
