Crashing in singleplayer heist Blitz Play

Hello,

I have a problem with the mission Blitz Play. After I have destroyed the garbage truck and driven away from it Michael calls. When he calls it switches character to him, however before the switch is complete the game crashes.
I have tried multiple times, and it crashes at the same place everytime.
I have also tried lowering my graphics settings, however it did not help.

Guys i got a Workaround.

Its a little work intensive but it works:

Park the getaway car, near Devin Westons Mension: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MeowOBNrlnM

After exploding the garbage truck drive east to get closer to the position where Micheal will be.

This way to whole zooming out and back in is avoided and the game wont crash anymore.

Hf continuing with the campaign this way! :D

I have the exact same problem, and i've seen a lot of people on the Steam community also having this problem. No workaround found yet.

It always crashes right when it transitions to Michael's car as they are talking on the phone. Really bad glitch - can't progress in the story.

The problem is the new Nvidia driver. Install the previous driver and it will work fine. At least it worked for me.

The workaround from Dainsu works.
I parked my getaway vehicle at the top of the mountain right next to the mansion, and when I destroyed the garbage truck, I drove towards the turn where Michael spawns.
This allowed me to complete the mission.

The same Crash will occur again a few minutes later during the Mission "Caida Libre". There is a Switch to Franklin and it crashes again upon zooming in. Seems to be a General Problem that is not only linked to Blitz Play.

Can anyone confirm that it's not only my bad luck to have this same Crash happen again during this Mission?

So how do you do the workaround if the getaway car has already been placed? I can't load to before that because that was ages ago.

@Zoltanar</a> So how do you do the workaround if the getaway car has already been placed? I can't load to before that because that was ages ago.

If you get back in to your getaway car (before you start Blitz Play), you can move it, and even change car if you'd like. Call Michael after you have placed it on the hill and select 'Mark Getaway Location' as you did beforehand.

Is there a work around for the apparent crash on the mission after Blitz Play?

Downgraded to Nvidia Driver 347.88 and it is still crashing for me.

I have the same problem at Caida Libre. When you see mission passed and the character switches, the game crashes.

@Blutdienst</a> Same here. Parking the vehicle close to micheal did not help, this is really anonying.

After getting in your getaway car, did you then drive it near where Michael spawns? Or did you still get the character switch cutscene?
