personally I advice arcade & even hdd xbox users to use 2 faster than 15mbs 16gb flash drives, in particular a sandisk cruser blade in rear port with the 'install disk', any updates & gamesaves executed from there & a corsair flash voyager in front hub for the 'play disk' installation.
doing so prevents the spinning disks in xbox from potentially becoming stressed by the high capacity streaming / seek-reading requirements of GTA V [more resources needed for the online component]
with the above setup, the spinning disks are only utilized upon first booting the game up required for DRM
any extensive system resource heavy software certainly has/is able to stress hardware to it's limits. when one experiences heaps of rendering issues [pop-in/up environments, no sound, excessive freezing, etc.] could very well be a sign of a tired hdd and/or optical drive.
