Patching "Replay Mission" is a joke!

Here a list of benefits taking this option out has given the online community.

And here is a list of "Cons" taking this option out has given us.

  1. Leaving game to ring up for the same job, very time consuming.
  2. Making more frustrating to earn money, people will want to buy GTA money more.

In conclusion there is no benefits, there is probally an excuse like, "People were making money too fast" or "This was never intended to happen"

Well hire better game testers or release an online beta before releasing such a big game.

This whole game was a hype in my opinion. 16 bit piece of hype.

The replay button is supposed to be available in between jobs; however, this is currently not working correctly because of a bug. The replay button is meant to be selectable, even if you replay a mission 100 times. We're working to correct this, and have made progress on patch 1.03.

So were supposed to believe that restart really got patched by mistake ? That's a joke, in the first patch you took away the replay in the menu option, but people found away around it by pushing RT to replay, and now in the next patch thats gone too. Its obvious it was very intentional to stop people from replaying missions.

Wow, I'm supposed to believe we can't replay missions because of a glitch/bug? I'm calling bulls#$t on that. R* releases one update patching the replay button and then a 2nd updating the RT replay option. The only reason we "farm" these missions is because your money scale/balance is out of whack due to the fact that you took heists out. The cost of everything, I mean everything, is tailored to players having an excess of money. Why on earth would Lester be telling me to buy a high end apartment at level 15 when I only had maybe $80 grand. Why does a suppressor cost over $12000? Bulletproof tires $25000, and countless other items. There is no way to earn that kind of money without farming. And for R* to claim it is a glitch/bug is just egregious.

number 2 actually benefits R* so that's not really a bad thing for them and also not for the players.

yes it benefits rockstar to make more money, but it really was un-beneficial for the player.. maybe blocking the replay of certain missions with certain high payouts 9k+ makes sense but making it impossible to replay missions with payouts at 5k and under shouldnt have been removed when you can quick restart the side/mini missions like survival..not to mention they reduced the pay for one Geralds (Violent Duct) mission from 9k to 3k..when since GTA:O's launch it was a 9k payout.. the consumers should be upset that R* priorities are out of place, they patch the replays which are beneficial to the player just not their micro-transaction purchases..but dont patch the laundry list of other bugs and connection issues including the skull mask taking away hair and making character bald thus having to go to the barber to put hair back on every time..

Rockstar, so the ability to like a mission you were given and completed and then click R2(Ps3) to quick restart was not intended to be changed/taken out? or are you talking strictly about the "Next Job Screen" replay button? because the replay button being selectable in the Next Job Voting screen works when you fail the mission but never has been selectable when you complete the mission, you always had to "like" the job and quick restart with R2 before the next job screen to replay a mission after completing it

I would like to thank Rockstar for a quick response.

However due to not having the replay thing mentioned in the patch notes made it all more suspicious!

I'm more than glad and relieved to hear that grinding missions will be back in GTA and making our lives just that tad easier when playing your game.

Might I add, that cancer "Violent Duct" deserved to be patched and now we are all experiencing different missions like "Mixed up with coke" from martin which I am currently enjoying with 5 friends.

I cannot wait to play Rooftop Rumble at level 75 for even more of a reward.
This is how I expected the game to be, rather than grinding a level 15 mission for months.

Great game, gg.
