Red Dead Redemption DLC content is not showing up in-game on PlayStation 3

Last Updated: December 2, 2025

Question: DLC is not showing up in-game on the PS3 after it has been successfully downloaded. What can I do?

Answer: Here are some things to check if DLC is not showing up in-game on your PS3 after it has been downloaded:

Verify DLC has been installed

  1. Open the PS3 XMB (home menu)

  2. Tab over to the Game tab

  3. Scroll down to and select Saved Data Utility (PS3)

  4. Scroll down to and select Red Dead Redemption

  5. Look for any RDR DLC content that needs to be installed, and then select it and choose to install

Verify that your disc’s region matches your DLC region

You can check your disc’s region by looking at the product code on the game box spine.

  • If the product code begins with BLUS, you have a Region 1 disc (North America)

  • If the product code begins with BLES, you have a Region 2 (Europe) disc

  • If the product code starts with BLAS, you have a Region 3 (Asia) disc

Downloadable Content is region-locked, meaning that it will only show up in-game if it matches the region of the disc. If your PSN account is registered in a different region (based on the address you provide when signing up) from your disc, you will not be able to use the DLC with that disc.

Note: Rockstar Games does not have access to administer PlayStation Network refunds or credit transfers in the event of accidental wrong region purchases. We recommend contacting PlayStation Support directly:

Note: For free DLC packs such as Myths & Mavericks / Hunting and Trading Pack for Red Dead Redemption, you can download the content again using a new, free PSN ID registered to the correct region. The content will still be accessible when logged back in to your original PSN ID.
