Understanding the dots and progress meter during Survivor Missions

Last Updated: August 9, 2023

Question: What do the dots and the progress meter represent at the top of the screen during Survivor Missions?

Answer: The empty dots represent the number of tasks that must be completed in order to save the town. The progress bar below the dots increases as zombies are killed.

There is more than one way to save a town from attacking zombies. Each time you help an unassisted survivor, one dot will become shaded; each time you fill the zombie death-count bar by killing zombies, a dot will also become shaded. When all dots have been filled in, kill the remaining zombies marked as red dots on the map to complete the saving of the town and change its status to "safe."
