Question: Why was I reimbursed for the Hair Mane and Tail customizations I made to my horse?

Answer: Horse Mane and Tail customizations now function similarly to hair styles at the Barbershop. Players can purchase these options in the Stable when they want to make a change to the appearance of their horse. All funds spent on Horse Manes and Tails prior to this change have been reimbursed and affected players notified through an in-game Alert Screen.
