Verifying your email as part of deleting your Rockstar Games account
Last Updated: April 15, 2025
Question: What can I do if I am not receiving the verification email required for me to delete my Rockstar Games account?
Answer: Issues with verifying the email associated with your Rockstar Games account can be caused by verification emails being flagged as junk mail, spam filters blocking the verification email, or temporarily reaching the maximum amount of verification attempts.
Verification email not received
Make sure that any ‘safe senders’ list, junk mail filters, or spam filters allow mail from noreply@rockstargames.com.
If you have not received the email containing your verification code for account deletion, you can select Resend code on the Rockstar Games account dashboard to have another code sent.
Reached the limit of email verification attempts
If you receive the error below, you have reached the maximum number of account verification requests and will have to wait 24 hours before requesting another email verification.
Unfortunately, we are unable to send your verification email at this time. Please try again later, or visit our support page if the problem persists.
