Platform Changes and GTA$ Transfers during GTA Online Profile Migration

Question: If I change platforms when migrating my GTA Online progress, will my GTA$ transfer as well?

Answer: Purchased GTA$ (i.e., money gained from Shark Cards, platform membership programs, etc.) can only be transferred between platforms of the same family (PlayStation 4 to PlayStation 5, Xbox One to Xbox Series X|S) during GTA Online profile migration.

All earned GTA$ (i.e., money gained from playing the game) will transfer regardless of platform family.

Important: Migrating your PC GTA Online progress from Legacy to the Enhanced version will remove any unspent GTA$ from your GTA Online Enhanced balance.

Note:

• PC Shark Card purchases made after March 4, 2025, will have GTA$ deposited to MAZE bank accounts on both the Legacy and Enhanced versions of Grand Theft Auto Online on PC.

• Any unspent GTA$ gained from the PlayStation Plus monthly GTA$1,000,000 bonus on the PlayStation 4 can only be transferred to the PlayStation 5.
