"No Disc Inserted" error message when launching Grand Theft Auto Trilogy on Mac

Question: Whenever I launch Grand Theft Auto games on my Mac it tells me "Disc Not Inserted" and directs me to a SecuROM support site for PC only. What's going on?

Answer: If you are attempting to run the game from the DVD, you may see an error message that states the disc is not inserted. To fix this, please make sure to put Grand Theft Auto games into your Applications folder and run them from your hard drive.
