Error Code 152 when trying to play an Epic Games copy of Red Dead Redemption 2 using the Rockstar Games Launcher on PC

Question: When I try to launch my Epic Games copy of Red Dead Redemption 2, I receive the following error. How do I fix this?
Failed to verify Epic Games ownership of Red Dead Redemption 2 (Code: 152). Please log into the Epic Games account that purchased Red Dead Redemption 2 and try again.
Answer: This problem can be caused by connection errors between the Rockstar Games Launcher and the Epic Games servers. To resolve this issue, follow the steps below:
Sign out and back into the Rockstar Games Launcher
Open the Rockstar Games Launcher
Select your avatar in the top right
In the drop-down menu, select Sign Out
On the new screen, enter your account information for your Rockstar Games account you own the game on
Attempt to launch your Rockstar Games title and see if the error no longer occurs
Change your Domain Name Servers (DNS)
Change your DNS settings to the following addresses:
IPv4:
Preferred DNS server: 8.8.8.8
Alternate DNS server: 8.8.4.4
IPv6:
Preferred DNS server: 2001:4860:4860::8888
Alternate DNS server: 2001:4860:4860::8844
