Getting the "Golden Guns" on Xbox 360

Question: How do I redeem my R* Code for the "Golden Guns Weapon Pack" on Xbox 360?

Answer: In early runs of the Pre-order Promo Card, there was a misprint for what button you must press when you are in the Downloadable Content menu for Red Dead Redemption.

Enter the Downloadable Content screen from the Main Menu. Now you will now need to press the "Y" button (not "X" as it is printed on card) to open up a "Blade" where you will be able to input and redeem your code for unlocking the Golden Guns Weapon Pack. If the code was successfully redeemed, you will see this onscreen message:

"Your R* Code was successfully validated and content was unlocked!"

Once you exit the Blade, the content will also now be listed under the heading "Downloadable Content Installed".

To see and use the Golden Guns item in-game, make sure you have either the "Cattleman Revolver" or the "Repeater Carbine" equipped.
