How to Remove Body Armor in Grand Theft Auto Online­

Question: My body armor is set to Auto-off but is still appearing over my clothes. How can I remove the armor?

Answer: You can remove the armor via the Interaction Menu using the steps below:

PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5

1. Hold down the Touchpad on your controller

2. Scroll down to Inventory

3. Select Body Armor

4. Press Square on your controller

Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S

1. Hold the Select or Back button on your controller

2. Scroll down to Inventory

3. Select Body Armor

4. Press X on your controller

PC

1. Press the M key

2. Scroll down to Inventory

3. Select Body Armor

4. Press ESC to return to the game

Note: Removing your body armor does not remove the armor's effects. Your armor bar will still be active and absorb bullets and explosions.
