Rockstar Games title not launching from the Rockstar Games Launcher

Question: Why doesn’t my game launch on the Rockstar Games Launcher when I press Play?

Answer: This issue may be solved by deleting your local profile. You can do this using the steps below:

  1. Open the Rockstar Games Launcher

  2. Select Settings

  3. Under My installed games on the left side bar, select your Rockstar Games title

  4. Make sure Enable cloud saves is checked

  5. Under Launcher settings on the left side bar, select Account information

  6. Next to Delete local profile, select Delete

    • Note: Your auto sign-in settings will be reset so your email and password will be required to sign back in

  7. When prompted, select Confirm

  8. Sign back in to the Rockstar Games Launcher

  9. Launch your Rockstar Games title
