Code entered cannot be redeemed from your current location

Question: When I try to enter my Rockstar Activation Code, an error appears saying “The code entered cannot be redeemed from your current location. Select Rockstar codes are only valid in specific countries.” What does this mean?

Answer: Rockstar Games titles purchased in certain regions can only be activated and/or played in those same regions. The above error means you are attempting to activate a code that does not match your region.

If you purchased a region restricted Rockstar Activation Code, are seeing the above error, and are trying to use it within the country of purchase - please contact the retailer where you purchased the code for assistance.

• Grand Theft Auto V PC activation codes are region-locked in certain locations including the following: Armenia, Belarus, Brazil, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, and Uzbekistan 

• Red Dead Redemption 2 PC activation codes are region-locked in certain locations including the following: Argentina, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Belize, Bolivia, Brazil, Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, El Salvador, Georgia, Guatemala, Guyana, Honduras, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Lao People's Democratic Republic, Macao, Malaysia, Mexico, Moldova, Republic of, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Philippines, Russian Federation, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Suriname, Taiwan, Tajikistan, Thailand, Turkey, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, Uruguay, Uzbekistan, Vietnam.
