Rapid speech sound and Max's narrative is very inaudible

Question: How can I fix the game if I am epxerienceing Rapid speech sound and Max's narrative is very inaudible in Max Payne 2 for PC

Answer: Start the game and choose play from the autorun screen.  From the pre-game setup, choose options.  Uncheck "Multichannel Audio" in the audio settings section.
