Constant feed invites and beeping in GTA Online

Question: Whenever I play GTA Online, I receive constant invitations in the lower-left corner of the screen, up to 5 at a time, along with beeping. My friends don't seem to experience this issue. How can I make these invitations stop?

Answer: We are aware that this issue may affect some players who are members of large crews, and are working on a fix. In the meantime, if you are bothered by this problem, you may be able to stop the invitations by temporarily leaving the large crew.
