What is happening?

As part of our ongoing efforts to protect our community, we monitor voice chat through Modulate, who provide proactive voice chat moderation for the gaming community.

How is my privacy being protected?

Protecting our players’ privacy has always been a priority. When necessary for player safety, some audio chat may be securely recorded and retained for a limited period. It will never be sold or rented to third parties.

Is friendly trash talk allowed?

We do not allow abusive player behavior or content that is intended to insult, intimidate, or attack other players.

Our moderation is tuned to the existing Rockstar Games Community Guidelines and takes into consideration conversational and other contexts.
