Lester/Merryweather abilities not unlocking in GTA Online

Question:

How can I unlock further Lester & Merryweather abilities in GTA Online? Some of my friends have them and they are equal or even lower level than me. The last thing that happened in game is that is said I should wait for further contact.  Am I missing something?

Question: I have the Ammo Drop ability but none of the others seem to be unlocking. How can I get them?

Answer: The Lester and Merryweather abilities require first seeing the cutscene between Trevor and Ron. Look for a "T" on the map to get to Trevor's trailer.  You should have also received a phone call from Brucie. To check this you can see if he is a contact in your cell phone.  The only requirement for this is that you are at least Rank 15 and have already seen the cutscene at Trevor's trailer.
