Friends Crews not showing up in Max Payne 3 in the in-game Crews menu

Question: I went online in Max Payne 3 an then a bunch of my friends entered Multiplayer too.  Why is the Friends Crews option greyed out in the Crews menu in-game?

Answer: The information about Friends Crews is refreshed each time you enter Multiplayer from Single Player.  This means that it is possible that you will not see Friends information in the Crews interface if your friends entered Max Payne 3 Multiplayer after you.  To refresh this information and display the current statuses, back out of Multiplayer and then re-enter from the Single Player interface.
