Reporting content and behavior in Grand Theft Auto Online

Question: What kinds of content or behavior can I report in Grand Theft Auto Online?

Answer: In GTA Online, you can report a player if you believe they are engaging in the following types of behaviors, or posting content, that violate our Community Guidelines in relation to Fair Play, Respect, and Safety:

  • Abusive Communication

  • Glitching or Abusing Game Features

  • Cheating or Modding

  • Griefing or Disruptive Gameplay

  • Offensive Player-Created Content

  • Offensive Online ID

Note: If you select ‘Abusive Communication’ or ‘Offensive Player-Created Content’ you will be prompted to share what category of abuse you experienced, and which feature you were using when the activity occurred, from the following options:

Categories:

  • Harassment or Bullying

  • Identity-Based Hate or Discrimination

  • Asking or Giving Personal Information

  • Threats of Suicide or Self-Harm

  • Illegal or Regulated Activities

  • Child Abuse or Sexual Exploitation

  • Violent Extremism

  • Violent or Gory Content

  • Adult Nudity or Sexual Content

  • Sexual Harassment and Threats

Features:

Abusive Communication:

  • Voice Chat

  • Phone App Chat

  • In-Game Chat - PC (GTAV Legacy only)

Offensive Player-Created Content:

  • Crew Name

  • Crew Emblem

  • Crew Tag
