Question: Why do I see the following error message when trying to play GTA Online on Xbox One?

• Your profile does not have permission to access GTA Online

Answer: You may be prompted with this message for one of the following reasons:

Your Xbox Game Pass subscription has expired

Check the status of your subscription using the following support article from Microsoft:

Your Xbox One settings do not allow multiplayer games

Check this setting using the following steps:

1. Press the Xbox button on your controller

2. Select Profile & system

3. Select Settings

4. Select Account

5. Select Privacy & online safety

6. Select Xbox privacy

7. Make sure Custom is checked, then select View details & customize

8. Select Communication & multiplayer

9. Set You can join multiplayer games to Allow
