Troubleshooting GTA Online Item Visibility for Xbox

Question: I’m not able to see certain things, like jobs created by other players and my Crew Emblem in-game. How do I fix this?

Answer: The issue you are experiencing may be due to the link between the Rockstar Games site and GTA Online.

To resolve these issues follow the troubleshooting steps below to disconnect and reconnect your Gamertag and Rockstar Games. 

Please Note: These steps require you to have access to both your console as well as the Rockstar Games site.

  1. Log out of the Game

  • Enter GTA Online

  • In the pause menu, go to the "Online" Tab and select "Leave GTA Online"

  • Wait until the game returns to Story Mode

  • Quit to your Dashboard

  • Sign out of your Gamertag

  1. Unlink your Gamertag

  1. Restart the Game

  • Sign back into your Gamertag

  • Enter GTA Online

  • Play for around half an hour

  1. Access the Crews Menu

  • In the pause menu, go to the "Online" Tab and select "Crews"

  • Sign into your Rockstar Games account

  • Wait for GTA Online to link to your Rockstar Games account

  • You will notice that you have a tag with no letters in the Lobby Menu (Top Left Corner)

  1. Return to Play then Sign Out

  • Play for 15-30 minutes

  • In the pause menu, go to the "Online" Tab and select "Leave GTA Online"

  • Wait until the game returns to Story Mode

  • Quit to your Dashboard

  • Sign out of your Gamertag

  1. Re-Link Your Gamertag and Rockstar Games

  • Return to https://socialclub.rockstargames.com/

  • Select Settings in the top right drop down menu

  • Select Linked Accounts

  • Re-Link the Gamertag you want to have linked to this Rockstar Games account

  • Log out of your Rockstar Games account

  1. Verify the Fix in-Game

  • Sign back into your Gamertag

  • Enter GTA Online

  • Check that your Crew Tag shows up correctly in the Lobby Menu (Top Left Corner)
