Managing and Reporting Abusive Players on PC

Question: What should I do if another Grand Theft Auto Online player is abusive, including harassing or bullying me?

Answer: Unwanted player interactions can be dealt with by blocking the offending user using platform tools. Below are some steps you can take to block interactions as well as report behavior that you feel rises to the level of abuse. If at any time you feel there is a threat to your personal safety, please contact your local police department.

Block the offending player

Use the block and mute features on your platform to prevent the player from communicating with you. Steps for how to do so can be found below:

PC

  1. Open the Pause menu

  2. Go to the Online tab

  3. Scroll and select Players

  4. Scroll and select the player you want to block

  5. Scroll and select Show Profile

    • The Rockstar Games Overlay will appear

  6. Select Player Actions

  7. Scroll and select Block

Rockstar Games website

  1. Log into your Rockstar Games account

  2. Use the Search tool at the top of the page to find the Rockstar Games ID of the player you wish to block

  3. Select the Rockstar Games ID of player you wish to block

  4. Select Block from the options below their Rockstar Games ID

  5. Confirm the Block in the resulting pop-up window
