What to do if game modes you earned have become locked in Max Payne 3

Question: I unlocked a new game mode or difficulty level in Max Payne 3, played on it for a while, and now it's locked again.  How can I fix this?

Answer: We have received a few reports about both difficulty modes (such as Hardcore and Old School) as well as modes (such as New York Minute) showing up as locked even after they were earned through gameplay.

To resolve this issue, please use Chapter Select in the story mode to just play the last level.  Upon completion of that level, the modes should re-unlock and remain available forever. 

We will continue to look into the root cause of this issue.
