[April 9, 2019] New Content – PS4, Xbox One

• A new Showdown Mode for 4 – 16 players has been added to the Red Dead Online Beta, available from Rank 1:

  • Plunder:

    • Teams compete to capture supplies from a central location and deliver them to their team’s base. Both sides can steal supplies from the opposing team’s base and try to return them to their own. The team with the most supplies by the end of the match wins.

• New time-limited items have been added to the Wheeler, Rawson & Co. Catalogue:

  • Owanjila Hat

  • Concho Pants

  • Porter Jacket

• A new Showdown Mode for 8 – 16 players has been added to the Red Dead Online Beta, available from Rank 1:

  • Up In Smoke:

    • Teams compete to destroy the enemy camp by delivering explosive packages to different areas of their camp. The team who has successfully delivered the most packages by the end of the match wins.

• New time-limited items have been added to the Wheeler, Rawson & Co. Catalogue:

  • Winter Shotgun Coat

  • Darned Stockings

  • Benbow Jacket

  • Manteca Hat

• A new race for 2 – 16 players has been added to the Red Dead Online Beta, available from Rank 1:

  • Target Races:

    • Players compete to shoot targets while on horseback to pass checkpoints while racing to be first to the finish line.

• New time-limited items have been added to the Wheeler, Rawson & Co. Catalogue:

  • Morning Tail Coat

  • Strickland Boots

  • Bowyer Boots (Female Only)

  • Furred Gloves

New Content – PS4 Early Access

• A new race for 2 – 16 players has been added to the Red Dead Online Beta, available from Rank 1:

  • Open Target Races:

    • Players compete in an open space to take out all targets first while on horseback

• Special Series icon

  • This icon will appear on the game map whenever there is a PS4 early access mode available

  • Fishing Challenge:          

    • Players compete to catch the most weight in fish, with variations across three different body of water types: Lakes, Rivers and Swamps

• New Fishing Care Package for this week with items that can be retrieved at either the Camp’s Lockbox or the Post Office:
