Fast-travel in Single-player Red Dead Redemption
Last Updated: March 28, 2024
Question: How do I "fast travel" during Single-player (skip to locations)?
Answer: Setting up a Camp is just one way to "fast travel" to another area of the world. Simply enter the MAP screen (in the Pause Menu), set a waypoint to the area you'd like to travel to, exit out of the MAP screen and set up a camp. Remember that you cannot set up a camp if you are too close to a town or road.
Once you are in the CAMP menu, choose the option to "Travel to Destination". From here you can choose to travel to any town that you have already visited, or to any waypoint that you've set on the MAP screen. Don't forget that Stagecoaches are another quick way to travel around to different towns or your own waypoints as well.
Note that fast-travel is only available in the original Red Dead Nightmare campaign, and not in the Undead Nightmare campaign.
