Rockstar Games Audio Error Code 7002.1

  • Turn off Enable audio enhancements

To verify your game files or turn off Enable audio enhancements, perform the steps under the respective methods listed below:

Verify your game files

  1. Sign in to the Rockstar Games Launcher

  2. Navigate to Settings

  3. Select the game you wish to verify from the list under My installed games on the left

  4. Select Verify Integrity under Verify game file integrity from the options on the right

  5. Upon completion, a pop-up message will appear above the system tray stating that your game is verified and ready to play

Turn off Enable audio enhancements

  1. Go to search on the task bar and type Control Panel

  2. Select Control Panel

  3. Select Hardware and Sound

  4. Select Sound

  5. Select your preferred audio device

  6. Click Properties

  7. If available, Click Speaker Properties

  8. Under Signal Enhancements, uncheck Enable audio enhancements

  9. Relaunch Red Dead Redemption 2 from the Rockstar Games Launcher
