Bandito Bounty not counting toward Bandito Oufit

Question: I turned in a Bandito Bounty alive and the corresponding scrap does not unlock toward the Bandito Outfit. Am I doing something wrong?

Answer: Try dismounting well short of the marker and carrying the live bounty on foot to the turn-in location.  Some players have reported that the Bandito Outfit scrap did not unlock when they turned in the live bounty while mounted.
