Reinstalling your game 

Rockstar Games Launcher 

  1. Open the Rockstar Games Launcher 

  2. Select Settings 

  3. Under My installed games, select the game you wish to uninstall 

  4. Under Uninstall game, select Uninstall 

  5. After the game is finished uninstalling, select Games 

  6. Select the game you just uninstalled 

  7. Select Install Now 

  8. Relaunch your game and see if the error persists 

Epic Games Launcher

To reinstall your game: 

  1. Select Library 

  2. Select the game you just uninstalled 

  3. Ensure the game is installing to the file path you want it to, then select Install 

  4. Relaunch your game and see if the error persists 

Steam 

  1. Open Steam 

  2. Select Library 

  3. Right-click the game you wish to reinstall in your library 

  4. Select Manage 

  5. Select Uninstall 

  6. Select Uninstall again 

  7. After the game is finished uninstalling, select the game you just uninstalled in your Steam Library 

  8. Select Install 

  9. Ensure the game is installing to the file path you want it to, then select Install again 

  10. Relaunch your game and see if the error persists
