Question: Can the email address or nickname associated with my Social Club account ever be changed?

Answer: At the present time, email addresses and user names on the Social club cannot be changed. If you would like to change your email address or user name, you will need to create a new Social Club account with new information.  Once an account is deleted, you can still use some of the old information in the new account (e.g. using different email and same nickname or vice versa).

Here are the steps for deleting and recreating (to use a different email address or Nickname).  

1. Go to Social Club website and sign in.
2. Go to https://socialclub.rockstargames.com/profile/requestdeleteaccount.html
3. Enter the email address and confirm.
4. Check email and click the link to confirm the deletion.
5. Sign up for a new Social Club account.
6. Go to Profile in the Upper Right, then click the Account Linking text.
7. Re-link Gamertag/PSN ID/GFWL ID.
8. Play each game to force a save and the stats from the save file will be re-uploaded to the new Social Club account.

Note that you will need to confirm the deletion by receiving an email and clicking on a link.  If you accidentally entered an invalid email or no longer have access to your email, please click Submit a Request at the top of this page and provide your Social Club email and user name.
