Learn The Cities– Knowing the layout of the cities is essential to quickly navigating the fastest routes during a race. When you first arrive in a new town, use Cruise mode to find back alleys and hidden jumps you can utilize down the line.
Know When to Nitro– Using a shot of nitrous at the starting line will give you an early lead, but put you at a disadvantage if you find yourself put behind by an unfortunate accident. Use your nitro when you desperately need to catch up or when a great opportunity to smoke your opponents arrives.
Keep SlipStream to Yourself– Getting a SlipStream Turbo is akin to getting a free shot of nitrous, which is something you should definitely keep out of your opponents’ hands. Whenever you see slipstream lines coming off your car, use Two Wheel Driving to keep those behind you from benefiting off your slipstream.
Never Brakr– Better to ease off the gas or use the emergency brake to perform a powerslide around a corner rather than slam on the brakes. The less speed lost, the better!
Every Car is Unique– Every vehicle handles differently, so before you take your new ride to the starting line, be sure to take it out for a round of test drives.
Whatever it Takes– It may not be sporting, but nudging opponents into walls and using the rearview mirror to block car coming up from behind are just a few ways to give you the advantage. Would those you'’re racing against not do it to you?
