Question: Can I use my controller to play GTA IV PC?
Answer: We are actively working on adding support for a larger variety of gamepads. For now here is a complete list of all controllers compatible with Grand Theft Auto IV PC:

For Title Updates later than 1.0.2.0, Direct Input support can be enabled by using the commandline -usedirectinput. The following Direct Input controllers are now supported:

If you are still having issues using your particular controller, another option is to use something like http://xpadder.com/ to map the in-game commands to your device.
