Knowing the terrain and vehicles in SR2 is crucial. Taking a little time to become familiar with the vehicles and your surroundings will pay off tremendously in the long run.

When being hounded by the cops or a gang make wide, sweeping turns. This will help you maintain your speed and control while at the same time helping to put some distance between you and your pursuer.

Be sure to use the environments to your advantage. When being chase by hostiles, head straight for trees and rocks and then at the last minute turn away and watch as your enemies fly headlong into the obstacles.

Your onscreen HUD is a valuable asset. Use it to track opponents, watch their moves, and use it to help you avoid them and confrontation.
