Question: My copy of Max Payne 3 came with a 16-digit code for the Special Edition or Local Justice DLC pack. That doesn't look like a Sony or Microsoft code -- what is this and how do I get my DLC?

Answer: The 16-digit code is a Rockstar Code that you can redeem on our websites.  When the code is redeemed, we send the Sony or Microsoft code to the email address you provide in the form.

Please refer to the information printed on your card for directions.  Please note that the Special Edition

The URL for the Locale Justice redemption page is: http://www.rockstargames.com/maxpayne3/firstdlc

The URL for the Special Edition (Except in North America, who gets codes to use directly on Xbox Live and PlayStation Network):http://Rockstargames.com/maxpayne3/specialeditiondownload

After entering the code on the Redemption website, please check your junk mail folder to make sure that the email with your soundtrack download link did not get caught in your spam filter. The email would be from donotreply@rockstargames.com.

Here are some other things to try if you are not able to redeem the code:

  • Make sure you are using dashes in between the sets of characters: XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXX
  • Make sure that all of your alphabetical letters are capitalized.
  • Try a different browser with plug-ins disabled and pop-up blockers off
  • Copy and paste the link from your email into the browser, rather than clicking in the email

If you have tried the steps above and are still having problems you can Submit a Request. When contacting support please provide us with the following information:

1. Name
2. Platform (360 or PS3)
3. Where you purchased your game
4. The download code you used
5. Date and time you first tried to redeem your code
6. Photo or scan of the card with the Rockstar  code
7. Brief description of the what happened when you tried to redeem the code
8. The IP address of the computer you used to attempt the code redemption
9. Your country (region of the disc if different from the country in which you live)
10. The version of the game you got (regular or Special Edition)
