To update your game, just go to the Android Market where you'll be prompted to download the latest version.  If your device is not on the list of supported devices, we recommend subscribing to the following article to be automatically notified via email when more models are added:

12/19/11: Version 1.1

We're pleased to report that the Android version of Grand Theft Auto III: 10 Year Anniversary Edition has been updated today to version 1.1 with a number of fixes along with new support for the Droid Bionic, Galaxy Nexus and Samsung Galaxy S II devices.

This update includes:

  • A fix so that immediately skipping cutscenes will no longer cause issues
  • The addition of PowerVR GPU support
  • Improved shader error handing and a few additional technical fixes

12/22/11: Version 1.2

A new update for #GTA3 (v1.2) is live on Android Market to address Xperia Play issues + add support for the DROID RAZR.

1/25/12: Version 1.3

  • Added support for Medion Lifetab and the Asus Transformer Prime
  • Integrated with Immersion Haptic Vibration Feedback
  • Tailor your visual experience with new video display settings
  • Improved controls for supported gamepads
  • Improved controls for Xperia Play
  • Game can now be installed to an SD card
  • Gamestop Wireless Game Controller fully supported.
  • Additional technical fixes

 

iOS

To update, head into the App Store, select 'Updates' and download the game. Officially supported iOS devices include iPad 1 & 2, iPhone 4 & 4S and iPod touch 4th Generation.

2/29/12: Version 1.1

  • Optimized memory usage for older devices and some minor bug fixes
