Question: I downloaded Grand Theft Auto 3 from steam and all the cars are yellow or shades of really dark colors.  What should I do?

Answer: We have received reports of yellow or dark-colored car textures in the downloadable version of GTA III and we are looking into this issue now.  As soon as we have more information on the topic we will update this article -- thanks for your patience!

We have seen on Steam forums and some other boards that the community has come up with several unofficial fixes for this issue.  Although there are unconfirmed reports that the fixes work, they have not been tested by Rockstar Games so use of user-created fixes is at your own risk.
