Question: How can I turn on/off the Golden Guns  in Red Dead Redemption?

Answer: The Golden Guns can be turned on and off in the Options menu under Config. 

For Golden Guns Pre-Order Codes: This Golden Gun bonus only affects two weapons, the Cattleman Revolver and Repeater Carbine.  There is currently no way to revert these two guns back to their original color once they have become gold through the pre-order code redemption.  However, we are able to manually turn off the gold color on your account on a case-by-case basis.  This change will take effect when a new save file is created.  If you would like to avail yourself of this option, please click "Submit a Request" at the top of this screen to submit a support ticket.  Please provide your Gamertag/PSN ID.
